Take me on a trip a long, long time ago!

My Name is Indy. It is short for Jennifer (long story, but true :-)). I am eccentric, mildly insane (aren't we all), and have a wicked sense of humor. I have an affinity for the classics, whether they be film, stars, styles, music, art, literature, decor or architecture. Oh, and I am a mother of twins...Yep, this crazy lady has passed her genes on to torture future generations. It was the least that I could do for this lovely little world.

That handsome man in uniform watching over you on this page is my grandfather in his Naval uniform in 1941. He was part of the Greatest Generation in every sense. He is part of my personal collection of pictures, so although he would be flattered by the attention, please don't try to download, reblog or copy him without my consent. He is precious to me!

  • McKinley Dome. President William McKinley was shot under this dome in 1901, at the Pan American Exposition in Buffalo, NY. The dome was originally installed at the Temple of Music, a spectacular concert hall built for the Expostion and sadly demolished following the event. Ironically the saved dome has now been abandoned. (via http://scotthaefner.com/photos/favorites/3058/)
